Two of our producers — Broadfork Farm and Just Picked Farm — are Certified Naturally Grown. Recently, a customer asked us what that means. The short answer is that it means the farms are growing food for their local community without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or GMO crops. A little bit longer answer with more detail follows below.
